buying a car in GERMANY.

Just wondering. DH & I have a car here in the states. I should be moving over there sometime next month. I dont wanna take our car, since it was our first one nothing to fancy & its starting to slowly give out. it needs new tires and alot of other stuff. Id rather not spend so much on it since were planning on getting a new one anyway.

My QUESTION is. does anyone know how it is BUYing a car in germany? were thinking maybe we should sell this one here and buy one out there. any ideas on pricing, make/model or whatever. thanks in advance for the replys.

I honestly have no clue, I am trying to get my husband to NOT buy a second car for out here! All I know is that you need to make sure that the car will pass inspection.
