Last summer we went on a day trip to Bitche, France and had an amazing time. We visited the Citadel, a historic landmark, and the modern gardens both were exceptional. The Citadel has a audio tour guide. The modern gardens are breathtaking with unique sculptures and designs. The village its self is small and quaint, we found a charming restaurant to have lunch in, don't remember the name, the people were extremely friendly. The drive there was short, 45 mins, there are outlet malls on the way... we plan on hitting them up next time. This is a trip we will be taking again!
